Back in the early days of the twentieth century, the streets in Red Wing Minnesota were pretty much either muddy or dusty. A businessman like Mr Beckman therefore needed sturdy boots that could be polished to reflect his status as a successful shoe company owner. The ‘9029’ is part of the Beckman collection. This collection is based on the boot’s classic Red Wing styling and the use of exclusive Black Featherstone dress leather. This leather is both light-weight and durable, which explains the name of this particular boot. These 6-inch boots feature an embossed moc toe style, 9 eyelets and a Vibram sole for solid grip.
